OUT THE SUNSHINE Family day celebration, Canada |

It
was all fun in Kitchener at the
BRING OUT THE SUNSHINE Family
day celebration. AFRICAN APPEAL, staged
a display of african culture and fashion
at the Forest Hill United Church on
Westmount Road. Volunteer
models displayed various styles of African
fashion designed by African Appeal.
Also on display were textiles, beads,
and sculptures of African origin. The
event which was well attended saw enthusiastic
attendees playing the African drum during
an interactive session with the Oshongo
Drum & Dance group. |

Millions are faced
with this question, not knowing if to yield to the pressure or
not. Should they wait for marriage or give in to immediate sexual
desires sow wild oats? The tradition long ago, was that the bed
be undefiled until marriage. Today, civilization and modern lifestyles
have changed the way people view promiscuity. Most guys say they
would prefer their gals to be experienced in bed by the time they
get married. Many thought it was a grown up thing and lived to
regret it. Most regrettable part of it is not remembering the
persons name…probably from a one-night stand. Contacting
sexually transmitted diseases like HIV/Aids can be a consequence
of one-night stands....Don't forget, AIDS is real! It is a known
fact that condom is only 97% effective. Should we preach safe
sex or abstinence? Should virginity still be an virtue? Should
we cherish life more or enjoy pleasure? Think about it-we've got
just one life. As a song goes: "If you love life you go plan
